Hi everybody, its been a while since I’ve written a blog post. Life has certainly whirled things up and spun us on our axis these last few months hasn’t it? I’ve probably never been so busy then right now. Every day is filled to the brim with juggling the homeschooling and keeping everyone fed and happy, as well as trying to keep on top of the crazy housework and laundry – gosh it’s been intense.
My priority has been the health and wellbeing of my family and whilst that has included lots of yoga and feeding them the good stuff, it’s left very little time for me to focus on my little business and website here. It seems really funny that just as I’d got the website going for N&F and secured a couple of regular corporate contracts, lockdown happened and life ground to a halt.
It’s certainly been a time of reflection. Amongst the busyness of life I’ve had a few moments to reflect on how I’d like to work in the future. I never thought remote teaching or consulting would become an important part of my business, yet here I am teaching several yoga classes and delivering live nutritional workshops and cookery demos. Its been highly educational for me!
So in many ways, lockdown has been a period of personal growth and that’s been for both us as a family – as we have all learnt so much about our resilience and ability to adapt – but also for myself and how I see myself going forward with N&F.
Has this been a period where you feel you have grown? I’m really interested to know…. x
